Ed Orgeron interested in coaching return after four-year retirement

Ed Orgeron left LSU at the end of the 2021 season, and he hasn’t been on the sidelines since. However, the national title-winning coach is looking to get back into the swing of things after a couple of years off.

The former Tigers leader joined Barstool Sports’ Pardon My Take to dish on his yearning to return to the sport. While he hasn’t totally committed just yet, he’s getting the itch to be on the sidelines again, so it could happen in short order.

“I think it’s time,” Orgeron stated, regarding getting back into coaching football. “I’m feeling it a little bit. Haven’t made the decision totally, but I’ve got my boys settled, coaching football now. It’s been four years since I’ve been out. I’m getting the itch again.”
